Dr. Marie Hansen is a nationally recognized executive coach and organizational strategist who helps leaders elevate performance, strengthen teams, and achieve meaningful, sustainable results. As COO of WPILeadership, Marie brings more than two decades of senior executive experience—including over a decade as Dean of a multi‑school college and earlier work as a trial and appellate attorney—combined with certified expertise in leadership development, emotional intelligence, and strategic planning.

Marie’s clients value her strategic mindset, steady presence, and ability to turn leadership challenges into opportunities for growth. Her work empowers leaders to lead with intention, communicate with impact, and create lasting organizational success. Her coaching and training programs support clients across government, healthcare, higher education, insurance, banking, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors, helping executives and teams communicate more effectively, lead through change, and build resilient, high‑performing cultures.

With a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, and executive education through Harvard’s MLE Program, Marie brings both academic rigor and real‑world leadership experience to every engagement. She is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional and is credentialed across a broad range of coaching disciplines, including executive coaching, career coaching, change leadership, communication impact, emotional intelligence, strategic planning, time management, and mindfulness. She remains actively engaged in leadership and service through her work on local and national boards.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and friends, relaxing on the golf course, and doting on her two Ragdoll cats.
