Edward Pallas - WPI Leadership

As a speaker and executive coach Dr. Edward Pallas has had the privilege to impact thousands of law enforcement and private sector professionals from around the world. He is passionate about leadership development and personal growth.

As an executive level officer with the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCP), in Maryland, Ed has served in leadership positions as Director of the Training & Education Division, Policy & Planning Division, Legal & Labor Division, and as Deputy Director of the Major Crimes Division.

His formal study of leadership began in 2008. Ed earned a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University. He currently teaches leadership and psychology courses at the undergraduate and graduate/doctoral levels. Ed brings numerous certifications with him, including, but not limited to, Certified Executive Coach, Human Behavior Consultant, DISC Certified, John Maxwell Certified Leadership Speaker, Trainer & Coach, and Emotional Intelligence Certified EQi 2.0 & EQi 360 Practitioner.

Being married with three beautiful daughters keeps him busy, but while not engaged in leadership learning or training, Ed strives to be an average Cross fitter and to keep up with his wife and three daughters, all of whom are fierce CrossFit competitors.
